Explore the fundamentals of U.S. nonproliferation policy and applicable requirements for handling proliferation-sensitive equipment and materials. Study the key aspects of controlled equipment with critical areas reinforced by engaging in hands-on exercises, interactive modules, and class exercises. Knowledge demonstration is accomplished through a capstone exercise and examination.
(U.S. Citizens Only) DOE and DOE-contractor personnel who are responsible for the life cycle management of proliferation-sensitive property. This includes personnel involved in property management and its oversight, procurement, excess and sales, material management, shipping and receiving, project management, technical information, export control, and classification, among others. The High Risk Property Awareness Training is recommended prior to taking this course.
